Flogenic Water Purification System

Made by the Co Wexford, Irish based company Medentech, Flogenic is a low cost automated water purification system which kills microorganisms in your water like bacteria and viruses.

Simple to fit and replace when required the Folgenic is activated with the flow of water and thus no additional power source is required to run it.

By using Flogenic the water drawn from the tank system through the pipes is purified and ready to drink or use for bathing.

The Flogenic starter kit will treat up to 90,000 litres before the filter needs to be replaced (approx 6 to 12 months depending on number of people in the household)

The easiest way to check to see if a replacement cartridge is needed is to see if the tablets within the existing cartridge are still visible or not.

Flogenic makes your water safer and will continue to protect the water in your system. Using Flgenic ensures that biofilm remains under control and ensures that legionella is eliminated from your water supply.

Amongst other water borne diseases Flogenic also prevents chorlera, typhoid, dysentery

Suitable to fit to new homes and also easy to retrofit Flogenic can be fitted to the vast majority of header or ground tanks for private, grouped water schemes, wells and rain water harvesting systems.

If your water is untreated it is at risk of contamination with harmful microorganisms. Indeed even treated water can be at risk of contamination when stagnant (stored for a long time in a tank or pipe).

In Ireland it is estimated that about 20% of well water is contaminated with bacteria including the potentially fatal VTEC (Verocytotoxigenic Escherichia col)

Harvested rainwater can also become contaminated through bird faeces and wind blown dust.
