The smart vent chimney terminal from IQ design will help you to reduce the downdraught and increase the updraught in your fireplace.

The smart vent chimney terminal is made from a light weight powder coated aluminum sheet. Its design is durable even in harsh weather climates and it is very easy to install on your chimney pot through and adjustable clamps which are fitted on each corner.

The Smart vent effectively prevents rain and other foreign bodies from entering your chimney.

How does the Smart Vent Chimney Terminal Work?

It is designed in a especially curved shape with four vertical walls. These walls behave like an aerofoil to create negative pressure on the inner curved edge as wind passes over through the terminal. This will in turn create a suction to increase the upward chimney draught.

The closed upper surface of Chimney terminal impedes the downward movement of wind which might otherwise create a down draught within the chimney.

The Smart Vent is suitable to be fitted on most conventional chimney post with an 8 Inch (200mm) internal diameter and a 9 Inch (230mm) external diameter.
