Solar Panel Charge Controller
Charge Controllers are designed to protect batteries from overcharging when connected to a solar panel. They regulate the voltage and current coming from the solar panels going to the battery thus ensuring the battery will not be damaged by being overcharged.
For smaller solar panels such as our 5 Watt and 10 Watt kits a charge controller is not required.
If you are using a solar panel with a high wattage there is three options available
10AH - Recommended to use with our 20 Watt, 30 Watt, 45 Watt and 60 Watt 80 Watt
20AH - Recommended to use with 120 Watt and 150 Watt Panels. Also suitable to use when you daisy chain 2 150 Watt Panels together.
30AH - Includes a LCD Display panel to provide intelligent information about the solar panel performance and is suitable for installations up to 480 Watt.
