Based on Bow Street in Dublin 1 the Capuchin Day Centre lead by Brother Kevin Crowley provide thousands of meals and food parcels for the homeless and those on the poverty threshold every week.
Since the collapse of the Irish Banks in 2008 the number of people needing their support has more than doubled. Coping with the increased numbers both physically and financially is a huge challenge for Brother Kevin and his team and Purchase.ie is glad to do our small little bit to help ease this pressure by helping to raise funds for the wonderful cause.
